FlyRadar24 app – flight radar for your phone

You can install FlyRadar24 on your phone and computer like a regular app: with an icon on your home screen and the radar in full screen, without the browser bar. You do not need to download anything from a store or create an account – installation takes a few seconds and is free.

How to install on Android

  1. Open FlyRadar24.eu in Chrome (or in Edge or Samsung Internet).
  2. Tap “Install the app” on this page. If you do not see the button, open the browser menu (three dots in the top right corner) and choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
  3. Confirm the installation. The FlyRadar24 icon will appear on your home screen and in the app list.

How to install on iPhone and iPad

  1. Open FlyRadar24.eu in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button – a square with an arrow pointing up, in the bottom or top bar of Safari.
  3. Choose “Add to Home Screen” (scroll down the list if you do not see this option), then “Add”.

From now on you open the radar with the FlyRadar24 icon – in full screen, without the address bar.

How to install on a computer

In Chrome and Edge on Windows, Mac and Linux, click the install icon on the right side of the address bar (a monitor with an arrow) or use the “Install the app” button above. The radar will open in its own window and appear in the Start menu or in Launchpad. In Safari on a Mac, choose File → “Add to Dock”.

Is the FlyRadar24 app on Google Play or the App Store?

No. It is a web app (PWA): you install it straight from the website, and it works like a regular app – with an icon and in full screen.

Is the app free?

Yes. Installation and all features are free and do not require an account.

Does the radar work without internet?

No. Aircraft positions change every few seconds, so the radar needs an internet connection. Without a network, the app will show a message or the last page you opened.

How do I remove the app?

Like any other: press and hold the FlyRadar24 icon and choose “Remove” or “Uninstall”. On a computer, open the app, click the menu in its window and choose “Uninstall”.
